Technical Hardware & Software Specifications
What is the Samsung A52 5G SM-A526U UFS Dump File?
This is a complete UFS (Universal Flash Storage) dump file for the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G (Model: SM-A526U). Unlike older devices that use eMMC storage, the A52 5G utilizes high-speed UFS technology, which requires specific dump files and compatible programming tools for hardware-level repair.
This dump file is a raw backup of the UFS chip's critical partitions (LUN0, LUN1, LUN2, etc.), extracted from a fully functional device. It is designed for professional GSM engineers and technicians to "unbrick" devices that have suffered complete software failure or bootloader corruption that cannot be fixed via standard USB flashing (Odin/Download Mode).
Supported Repair Scenarios
Use this SM-A526U UFS dump file for the following board-level repair situations:
- Dead Boot Repair: The device consumes low amperage (e.g., 0.08A - 0.12A) and hangs, showing no signs of life, vibration, or display.
- Qualcomm 9008 Mode Stuck: For devices stuck in EDL (Emergency Download Mode) that fail to take standard firmware.
- Corrupted UFS Config: When the UFS configuration data or partition table is damaged, preventing the phone from booting or entering Download Mode.
- UFS Chip Replacement: If the original UFS chip is physically damaged and replaced, this dump file is required to initialize the new blank UFS chip with the correct boot info and partition structure.
- Boot Loop Fix: Resolves persistent restart issues caused by deep-level partition corruption that factory resets cannot fix.
Compatible Hardware Tools
Due to the UFS storage technology, you must use hardware programmers that specifically support UFS chips. Standard eMMC tools will NOT work.
EasyJTAG Plus (with UFS Socket)
The Z3X EasyJTAG Plus box, when equipped with the UFS socket adapter, allows for direct reading and writing of UFS chips. This file is fully compatible with the EasyJTAG Plus "Write UFS" function.
Medusa Pro II
Medusa Pro II is a powerful tool designed for UFS and eMMC programming. It supports high-speed writing for the SM-A526U dump file via both direct socket connection and UFS ISP (if pinouts are available).
UFI Box (UFS Prog)
For UFI users, the dedicated UFI UFS Programmer (UFS Prog) add-on is required. The standard white/black UFI Box only supports eMMC. Ensure you are using the UFS hardware extension.
MiPI Tester / Sysco Box
This dump file format is also compatible with other high-end UFS programmers like MiPI Tester and Sysco Box for direct chip programming.
Programming Methods
1. Chip-Off (Direct Socket)
This is the most reliable method for UFS repair. Desolder the UFS chip from the motherboard, place it in the appropriate BGA socket (BGA 153/254 depending on the specific chip package), and write the dump file directly. This ensures 100% data integrity.
2. UFS ISP (In-System Programming)
If you have the valid UFS ISP pinout for the SM-A526U, you can solder wires to the CLK, CMD, Data0, and power lines on the motherboard. Note: UFS ISP is extremely sensitive to wire length and signal quality. Use high-quality wires no longer than 3-5cm.

Disclaimer
Review Before Flashing: This file is intended strictly for professional mobile repair technicians. Writing UFS dumps involves advanced hardware skills (soldering/desoldering) and understanding of partition structures. Incorrect usage can permanently damage the device motherboard or UFS chip.
The user assumes all risks associated with the use of this file. Please ensure you have backed up any critical calibration data (EFS/SEC) if possible before erasing or writing the UFS chip.
